What Is A Sound Bath?

Immerse yourself in beautiful sounds and vibrations which are healing for your body, mind and spirit. A Sound Bath is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience which can take you on a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self discovery. Everything in the Universe, including our body, is vibrating. Every organ and every cell in our body vibrates at a particular frequency. Sound and vibration travels up to five times more effectively through water. As the human body is made up of over 70% water we can understand that sound and vibration can effect us at a cellular level.During a Sound Bath you may experience deep relaxation and a profound sense of peace and well-being. At the start, I will lead you in a short guided-meditation to prepare your body and mind for the experience which follows. You will experience the healing power of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gong, Koshi chimes, crystal bowls, solfegio healing chimes, and many more.... All you have to do is lie there and allow the healing sounds and vibrations to wash over you. For the Sound bath you will lie on a yoga mat, with a cushion under their head, covered with a comfy blanket. Time is suspended as you enter a world of vibration, sensation and experience. Physical injuries can be healed and old emotional traumas released. You feel truly, vibrantly alive. Once you’ve had your first Sound Bath you’ll certainly want more!

The energy is diminishing going inward, how are you feeling? The moon is waning getting smaller and on January 2nd the moon will conjunct the Sun in the sign of Capricorn. This New Moon is a turning point, it's the first New Moon of 2022, the first one after the solstice, and it holds a very special power of regeneration and renewal. This time of darkness gives us the space for inner search. To be quiet. Just to be. And maybe in this stillness and silence we can really allow the visions of the life that serves our highest self to come through and the awareness of what we need to change to empower us.

This new New Moon is in the star (of Purva Ashadha nakshatra) connected with Lord Ganesh (The elephant God, remover of obstacles) very auspicious placement for new beginnings, new ideas and projects. Also very connected with the element of water - flow and abundance.

So we will activate in the classes this month both on location and in zoom, the energy of renewal, regeneration & flow, removing obstacles, barriers that we create around ourselves preventing us from experience our true abundant nature.

  • Tuesday 7th Dec 7pm (2 weeks course) - Beginners

Crown Chakra ~ Trust ~ Bliss ~ Joy ~ Oneness

The crown chakra is the seventh chakra, progresses upward from the crown, the top of the head to the Sahasrara which connects us with the Divine source of creation, is our source of enlightenment and spiritual connection to all that is. It is a connection to our higher selves, to every being on the planet, and ultimately the divine energy that creates everything in the universe.

True opening of Sahaswara means the realization that you are pure awareness. You are pure consciousness, undivided, and all expansive. Like a drop in the ocean, you are a part of that ocean that contains and encompasses every aspect of it.

When we realize that everything is interconnected and that we are part of the larger scheme of life, we begin to live with gratitude, faith and trust, rather than filled with fear and anxiety.

The challenge of this chakra is to liberate the spirit - open to the divine - and at the same time stay firmly rooted deep in the ground.

Sanskrit name: Sahasrara - thousand petal Element: No element, or thought Color: Violet or white Petals of the lotus: One thousand Vowel sound: Ngngng Endocrine gland: Pineal gland Physical association: Central nervous system, cerebral cortex Psychological function: Awareness, understanding Identity: Universal identity Mythological Animal: Eagle Incense: Myrrh

May we experience joy, may we realize that bliss is our nature.
